"I recently dined at Suvera Indian Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that set the perfect mood for a relaxing meal. The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic Indian dishes, catering to both traditional and modern tastes. I tried the butter chicken and garlic naan, and they were absolutely divine! The spices were perfectly balanced, and the flavors were incredibly rich. The portions were generous, ensuring great value for money. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout the meal. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Suvera Indian Restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu!"
"Found this south indian restaurant pretty close by. The poori sabzi was amazing, so is the filter coffee. Had high hopes with the mysore masala dosa but it had no PODI, wasnt as good as i expected. Service was slow maybe due to lack of staff. Will come back to try maybe other type of dosas."
"After a long time I am thrilled and excited to write about a South Indian Restaurant which gave us a feeling of 100% authentic. 1. The food was brilliant, we have been to a lot of Indian restaurants in the Edmonton region, however there was a lack of Tamil Nadu based foods. So we tried Suvera, and we were amazed by the authentic taste of Tamil Nadu. 2. We ordered Chicken 65 Biryani and Chili Chicken, both were absolutely stunning. We recommend North Indian people to give it a try here. This Biryani, is absolutely flavourful. 3. Try Chicken 65 here, you won't be disappointed. 4. The Chef Mr. Raj Sekar stopped by our table and he was very pleasant and cared about what we as a customer felt and asked for our feedback. We told him it was delicious and we were waiting for one such restaurant for a very long time. 5. The staff were friendly and approachable. 6. Price - there are many restaurants calling themselves premium and charge a premium price while food is not on par. But Suvera's price is positioned in an affordable category while the food they serve is of premium quality. Trust me, the pricing is affordable. Overall, I will rate this restaurant 5/5. Kudos to Suvera Restaurant and team."
"Loved the place. We ordered a mysore masala dosa and idly/wada combo. Decently priced and amazing taste. Dosa was as crispy as it should be along with the mysore masala spice. Combo was too good as well. A very humble and down to earth owner. Made our visit really special. The filter coffee at the end was outstanding. Served in traditional cups (check pic for reference)."
"*Food* Cauliflower (9/10): Simply delicious! It's full of flavors and the spices are amazing. Careful if you have a low tolerance on spices. Perfect for an appetizer. Samosa (9/10): It comes with Cilantro Chutney, which is delicious! Great to share with others as a starter. Chicken Tikka Masala Dosa (9/10): It's a huge plate; an explosion of flavors. It comes with 3 different chutneys, 2 of them have a coconut base, and the other is a cilantro chutney. It also comes with a small cup of soup, which was okay. The 3 chutneys are amazing. The only small comment here is that the chicken portion is not the greatest, you'll be full because of the bread mostly, but still the portion is okay. I loved the dish, the dosa is amazing. *Service* The staff is super friendly; the food took a bit of time to get served, but it wasn't that bad. I would definitely go again! *Atmosphere* The place is usually not so crowded, it's like a hidden gem. Really nice for a friends gathering."
"Best hidden gem of Edmonton! The food was nothing short of perfect, with the quality and quantity being what I expect for the price (the same cannot be said about the majority of restaurants today). I appreciate they can adjust the spice level to suite the customer's preference; perhaps they could even add a spice scale to their menu. The soup comes in a small bowl, but know you can have refills (they just like to minimize waste, which I also appreciate). The flavours in the food are complex, allowing you to savour each bite. The dining area was quiet, not bombarded by screens everywhere (thank you!), and the atmosphere was relaxed. They play what sounds like bhajans softly for ambiance, which I will gladly take over the muzak preferred by many other dining establishments. It is not pretentious by any means, and that only adds to my appreciation of this place. The service was excellent and we did not have to wait a long time for our food. Gluten Free items are all clearly indicated on the menu (as well as vegan), which is very much appreciated. I presume the Owner was the one serving us, and he is very professional, kind, helpful, and non-assuming. I have dined at many Indian restaurants, and so far Suvera has crushed the competition simply by focusing on the quality of their food. I will be back, and that very soon!"
"The dosas here are tasty and filling. They're not the best dosas I've tried so far but pretty good and worth a try. Servings are generous. I appreciate that the menu labels all the vegan options clearly. Our server was friendly and informative."
"I am rating this after 3 continues visits. We absolutely loved the food. They bought the perfect South Indian tastes here. The ambiance is aesthetic and service is also very quick. A must go place for one wanted to taste authentic south indian taste. Wishing them the best!"
